Azam Khan Arrested by ED Outside Rampur Jail

Senior Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan has been arrested by the ED outside Rampur jail. He was to be released after obtaining bail from the Allahabad High Court in a two-PAN card case. However, the ED team was present at the jail gate and immediately took him into custody in a money laundering case related to the Maulana Mohammad Ali Jauhar University. The ED alleges misuse of government funds and significant financial irregularities in the university's construction.

आजम खान को रामपुर जेल के बाहर ईडी ने किया गिरफ्तार

समाजवादी पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेता आजम खान को ईडी ने रामपुर जेल के बाहर गिरफ्तार किया है। उन्हें इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट से दो पैन कार्ड मामले में जमानत मिलने के बाद रिहा किया जाना था। लेकिन, ईडी की टीम जेल गेट पर मौजूद थी और उन्होंने मौलाना मोहम्मद अली जौहर यूनिवर्सिटी से जुड़े मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग के मामले में उन्हें तुरंत हिरासत में ले लिया। ईडी का आरोप है कि यूनिवर्सिटी के निर्माण में सरकारी धन का दुरुपयोग और बड़े पैमाने पर वित्तीय अनियमितताएं हुई हैं।
