Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma stated that the duration of the state's refugee burden, stemming from Bangladesh, Myanmar, and Manipur, is contingent upon the prevailing geopolitical situation in the region. He noted that ethnic ties influence political parties and social organisations' opposition to fencing the India-Myanmar border. The state has been supporting approximately 40,000 displaced individuals, and their return depends on external factors. Lalduhoma also touched upon maintaining peace along the Mizoram-Assam border and his party's stance on national political alliances.

मिजोरम के मुख्यमंत्री लालदुहोमा ने कहा कि बांग्लादेश, म्यांमार और मणिपुर से राज्य पर पड़ रहे शरणार्थी बोझ की अवधि क्षेत्र की भू-राजनीतिक स्थिति पर निर्भर करती है। उन्होंने कहा कि जातीय संबंध राजनीतिक दलों और सामाजिक संगठनों को भारत-म्यांमार सीमा पर बाड़ लगाने का विरोध करने के लिए प्रभावित करते हैं। राज्य लगभग 40,000 विस्थापित लोगों का समर्थन कर रहा है, और उनकी वापसी बाहरी कारकों पर निर्भर करती है। लालदुहोमा ने मिजोरम-असम सीमा पर शांति बनाए रखने और राष्ट्रीय राजनीतिक गठबंधनों पर उनकी पार्टी के रुख पर भी बात की।
