This decision comes in light of a pending Supreme Court case concerning the singing of all six stanzas. The petitioner argues the state lacks the authority to dictate the content of national symbols. The court adjourned the hearing for three weeks after preliminary discussions.

कर्नाटक HC ने वंदे मातरम गायन याचिका स्थगित की

कर्नाटक हाई कोर्ट ने राज्य सरकार के सरकारी कार्यक्रमों में वंदे मातरम के केवल पहले दो छंद गाने के फैसले को चुनौती देने वाली जनहित याचिका पर सुनवाई तीन हफ़्तों के लिए टाल दी है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट में सभी छह छंद गाने को लेकर एक मामला लंबित है। याचिकाकर्ता का कहना है कि राष्ट्रीय प्रतीकों की सामग्री तय करने का अधिकार राज्य के पास नहीं है।
