Following the India-UK free trade agreement, the UK is launching a growth partnership with Maharashtra to translate trade gains into investments and jobs. UK Secretary of State Jonathan Reynolds highlighted the potential for an additional 25 billion British pounds in bilateral trade. The partnership aims to unlock new trade, investment, and innovation across sectors like advanced manufacturing and AI. A UK delegation is visiting India to foster these economic ties, with Indian businesses already announcing significant investments in Manchester, creating new employment opportunities.
