The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) has filed a chargesheet against EaseMyTrip co-founder Nishant Pitti in the Mahadev betting app money laundering case. Pitti is accused of actively assisting in layering crime proceeds through stock market manipulations. The ED alleges Pitti entered into a pre-arranged deal to artificially inflate the share price of Easy Trip Planners Limited. Investigators claim a foreign portfolio investor entity then purchased shares at these inflated valuations.
