UPI Payments Will Not Attract Tax Or Charge

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has clarified that UPI payments will not attract any tax or transaction charge. She stated that the Taxation and Other Laws (Amendment) Bill does not impose any additional costs on UPI transactions. वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने साफ कर दिया है कि UPI पेमेंट पर कोई टैक्स या ट्रांजैक्शन चार्ज नहीं लगेगा। उन्होंने बताया कि Taxation and Other Laws (Amendment) Bill में UPI ट्रांजैक्शन पर कोई अतिरिक्त शुल्क नहीं लगाया गया है। यह भरोसा डिजिटल पेमेंट को आसान बनाने और देश भर में इसके इस्तेमाल को बढ़ावा देने के लिए दिया गया है, ताकि लोगों को कोई परेशानी न हो।
