Poll Panel Orders Unanimous Amid Row

Election Commission sources stated that orders for the Special Intensive Review (SIR) process in Bihar and other states were unanimously approved by the Chief Election Commissioner and two Election Commissioners. This process includes a Declaration Form to simplify new voter registration, aligning with the Representation of the People Act and Supreme Court rulings. The SIR has been conducted in phases across numerous states and union territories. The Election Commission refuted claims of internal disagreement, asserting all actions comply with laws and instructions.

चुनाव आयोग के सूत्रों ने बताया कि बिहार और अन्य राज्यों में स्पेशल इंटेंसिव रिव्यू (SIR) प्रक्रिया के आदेश पर मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त और दो चुनाव आयुक्तों ने सर्वसम्मति से मुहर लगाई। इस प्रक्रिया में नए मतदाता पंजीकरण को आसान बनाने के लिए एक डिक्लेरेशन फॉर्म शामिल है, जो जनप्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम और सुप्रीम कोर्ट के फैसलों के अनुरूप है। SIR कई राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में चरणों में आयोजित किया गया है। चुनाव आयोग ने आंतरिक असहमति के दावों को खारिज किया है, यह कहते हुए कि सभी कार्य कानूनों और निर्देशों के अनुसार हैं।
