India and Sri Lanka Cooperatives to Boost Food Supply

India and Sri Lanka will enhance the supply of essential commodities and ensure food security through their respective cooperative sectors. The National Co-operative Exports Limited (NCEL) has signed an agreement with Sri Lanka's COOPFED to strengthen cooperation. This partnership will facilitate the supply of essential food items from India to Sri Lanka via cooperative networks, aiming to reduce shortages and improve affordability. The MoU also covers cooperation in market information exchange, capacity building, logistics, and supply chain management, fostering stronger institutional linkages between the two countries' cooperative sectors.

भारत और श्रीलंका के सहकारी क्षेत्र खाद्य आपूर्ति बढ़ाने के लिए साथ आए

भारत और श्रीलंका अपने-अपने सहकारी क्षेत्रों के ज़रिए ज़रूरी सामानों की आपूर्ति बढ़ाएंगे और खाद्य सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करेंगे। नेशनल कोऑपरेटिव एक्सपोर्ट्स लिमिटेड (NCEL) ने सहयोग को मजबूत करने के लिए श्रीलंका के COOPFED के साथ एक समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। यह साझेदारी सहकारी नेटवर्क के माध्यम से भारत से श्रीलंका को ज़रूरी खाद्य पदार्थों की आपूर्ति को आसान बनाएगी, जिसका लक्ष्य कमी को कम करना और सामर्थ्य में सुधार करना है। इस MoU में बाज़ार की जानकारी के आदान-प्रदान, क्षमता निर्माण, लॉजिस्टिक्स और आपूर्ति श्रृंखला प्रबंधन में सहयोग भी शामिल है, जिससे दोनों देशों के सहकारी क्षेत्रों के बीच मजबूत संस्थागत संबंध बनेंगे।
