She achieved this feat, at RFC Rendcomb Airfield in Gloucestershire, England, at the age of 99 years and 21 days. Inspired by a 97-year-old wing-walker, Helga decided to undertake the challenge herself, securing herself to the wing of a small aircraft. The flight, initially postponed due to technical issues, successfully raised over £1,300 for Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
