The Telangana High Court has strongly criticized government officials for their persistent delays in implementing court orders. Justice CV Bhaskar Reddy warned of stringent actions against officers seeking exemptions on untenable grounds, particularly rejecting a request based on an official accompanying a minister. The court emphasized that delaying refunds of petitioner's money is unacceptable. After being informed that the ₹45.10 lakh due to two businessmen had been deposited following a December 2024 order, the contempt petition was closed.
