The Kerala High Court has directed the state government to disburse over ₹9.73 crore in pending victim compensation across 225 cases within five weeks. The court also ordered the release of mediators' honorarium at revised rates for now, with a review of proposed amounts from 2022. The bench emphasized timely disbursement of victim compensation, instructing Member Secretaries to ensure no future delays. Secretaries of District Legal Services Authorities are to collect all necessary documents from victims during adjudication to streamline the process.

केरल हाईकोर्ट ने राज्य सरकार को आदेश दिया है कि वह 5 हफ़्तों के अंदर 225 मामलों में ₹9.73 करोड़ से ज़्यादा के लंबित पीड़ित मुआवज़े का भुगतान करे। कोर्ट ने मध्यस्थों के मानदेय को भी फिलहाल संशोधित दरों पर जारी करने का आदेश दिया है, और 2022 से प्रस्तावित राशियों की समीक्षा की जाएगी। पीठ ने पीड़ित मुआवज़े के समय पर भुगतान पर ज़ोर दिया और सदस्य सचिवों को भविष्य में किसी भी देरी को सुनिश्चित करने का निर्देश दिया। जिला विधिक सेवा प्राधिकरणों के सचिवों को प्रक्रिया को सुव्यवस्थित करने के लिए निर्णय के दौरान पीड़ितों से सभी ज़रूरी दस्तावेज़ इकट्ठा करने होंगे।
