Bihar Woman Beaten to Death Over Witchcraft Suspicion by Neighbours

A 52-year-old woman was allegedly beaten to death by her neighbours in Bihar's Muzaffarpur district on suspicion of practising witchcraft. The incident occurred on Sunday in the Kachhi Pakki police outpost area. Neighbours reportedly assaulted her with sticks, leading to her death during treatment at a private hospital after initial referral. Following her death, family and villagers protested, placing her body outside the main accused's house and demanding justice. Police are investigating the case after a forensic team examined the crime scene.

बिहार के मुजफ्फरपुर जिले में 52 साल की एक महिला को उसके पड़ोसियों ने डायन होने के शक में कथित तौर पर पीट-पीटकर मार डाला। यह घटना रविवार को कच्ची पक्की पुलिस चौकी इलाके में हुई। पड़ोसियों ने कथित तौर पर उसे डंडों से पीटा, जिससे इलाज के दौरान निजी अस्पताल में उसकी मौत हो गई। उसकी मौत के बाद, परिवार और ग्रामीणों ने विरोध प्रदर्शन किया, उसके शव को मुख्य आरोपी के घर के बाहर रख दिया और न्याय की मांग की। पुलिस ने फोरेंसिक टीम द्वारा अपराध स्थल की जांच के बाद मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी है।
