BJP Alleges JMM, Congress Oppose Electoral Roll Revision To Protect Vote Banks

Jharkhand BJP president Aditya Sahu alleged on Saturday that the Congress and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) are opposing the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. He stated that the SIR process aims to identify and remove names of individuals allegedly residing illegally from voter lists. Sahu claimed that these voters support the two opposition parties, hence their opposition to the revision. He also criticized those questioning the Chief Election Commissioner, Gyanesh Kumar, calling their actions attempts by anti-national forces to disrupt the situation.

झारखंड बीजेपी अध्यक्ष आदित्य साहू ने शनिवार को आरोप लगाया कि कांग्रेस और झारखंड मुक्ति मोर्चा (जेएमएम) मतदाता सूची के विशेष गहन संशोधन (Special Intensive Revision) का विरोध कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि एसआईआर प्रक्रिया का मकसद मतदाता सूची से अवैध रूप से रह रहे लोगों के नाम पहचान कर हटाना है। साहू ने दावा किया कि ये मतदाता दोनों विपक्षी दलों का समर्थन करते हैं, इसलिए वे संशोधन का विरोध कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त, ज्ञानेश कुमार, पर सवाल उठाने वालों की भी आलोचना की और उनके कार्यों को राष्ट्र-विरोधी ताकतों द्वारा स्थिति को बिगाड़ने के प्रयास बताया।
