The Students’ Federation of India (SFI) has claimed victory in student union elections held across 30 out of 48 colleges in Kozhikode district, affiliated with the University of Calicut. The SFI secured all seats in 14 of these institutions. However, the Kerala Students’ Union (KSU) and Muslim Students’ Federation (MSF), operating under the United Democratic Students’ Front (UDSF) banner, contested these claims. They asserted their own wins in several colleges previously influenced by the SFI, highlighting a competitive electoral landscape.
