The Indian share market experienced a significant surge of over 2,000 points, driven by substantial buying from foreign institutional investors (FIIs). FIIs invested approximately ₹14,974 crore in a single day, marking their largest purchase in six and a half years. Despite domestic institutional investors selling shares worth over ₹10,444 crore, the market capitalization of listed companies crossed ₹500 lakh crore. This rally, occurring just before Dhanteras, has boosted investor confidence, with the Sensex reaching 79,310 and Nifty climbing to 24,537.

भारतीय शेयर बाज़ार में विदेशी संस्थागत निवेशकों (FIIs) की ज़बरदस्त ख़रीदारी के चलते 2,000 अंकों से ज़्यादा की बड़ी तेज़ी देखी गई। FIIs ने एक ही दिन में क़रीब ₹14,974 करोड़ का निवेश किया, जो साढ़े छह साल में उनकी सबसे बड़ी ख़रीदारी है। घरेलू संस्थागत निवेशकों द्वारा ₹10,444 करोड़ से ज़्यादा के शेयर बेचने के बावजूद, सूचीबद्ध कंपनियों का मार्केट कैप ₹500 लाख करोड़ के पार चला गया। धनतेरस से ठीक पहले आई इस तेज़ी ने निवेशकों का भरोसा बढ़ाया है, जिसमें Sensex 79,310 और Nifty 24,537 पर पहुँच गया।
