Guntur Civic Body Polls On Nov 1: 596 Stations Set Up

Elections for the Guntur Municipal Corporation and Tenali Municipality are scheduled for November 1, with 596 polling stations established in Guntur and 185 in Tenali. A total of 7,75,803 voters are eligible to cast their ballots. The District Collector has appealed to voters to exercise their franchise freely and fearlessly. Counting of votes will take place on November 3. Around 1,200 police personnel will be deployed to ensure peaceful polling, with web cameras monitoring sensitive stations.
