सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने सीजेपीआई के प्रस्तावित विरोध प्रदर्शन से पहले दिल्ली में लगाए गए प्रतिबंधों पर चिंता जताई है। सीजेआई सूर्यकांत ने जोर देकर कहा कि कानून व्यवस्था बनाए रखना महत्वपूर्ण है, लेकिन जनता की सुविधा को पूरी तरह से बाधित नहीं किया जाना चाहिए। अदालत ने हजारों यात्रियों, छात्रों और आवश्यक यात्रियों पर पड़ने वाले प्रभाव पर प्रकाश डाला जो सार्वजनिक परिवहन पर निर्भर हैं। सीजेआई सूर्यकांत ने अधिकारियों से सड़क बंद करने और यातायात प्रतिबंधों की समीक्षा करने का आग्रह किया, और पूर्ण बंदी के बजाय मेट्रो की आवृत्ति कम करने जैसे विकल्पों का सुझाव दिया।
