Odisha ITI Students Offer Free Electrical & Plumbing Repair Services in Flood-Hit Ganjam

Around 40 students from government Industrial Training Institutes and an engineering school in Odisha are providing free repair services for electrical, electronic, and water supply systems in flood-affected Ganjam district. Their primary focus is on Aska, the worst-hit town. The students, trained in electrical, electronics, and plumbing trades, have been working since Monday, already repairing equipment at the Aska Sub-Divisional Hospital. This initiative, supervised by the district administration, aims to restore normalcy by fixing damaged appliances and plumbing, demonstrating technical skills in post-disaster rehabilitation.

ओडिशा के सरकारी औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्थानों और एक इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज के लगभग 40 छात्र बाढ़ से प्रभावित गंजाम जिले में बिजली, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक और जल आपूर्ति प्रणालियों के लिए मुफ्त मरम्मत सेवाएँ प्रदान कर रहे हैं। उनका मुख्य ध्यान अस्का, सबसे बुरी तरह प्रभावित शहर पर है। बिजली, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और प्लंबिंग ट्रेडों में प्रशिक्षित छात्रों ने सोमवार से काम करना शुरू कर दिया है, और पहले ही अस्का उप-विभागीय अस्पताल में उपकरणों की मरम्मत कर चुके हैं। जिला प्रशासन की देखरेख में इस पहल का उद्देश्य क्षतिग्रस्त उपकरणों और प्लंबिंग को ठीक करके सामान्य स्थिति बहाल करना है, जो आपदा के बाद पुनर्वास में तकनीकी कौशल का प्रदर्शन करता है।
