According to Vastu Shastra and astrological experts, wearing lockets with images or idols of deities around the neck is not considered auspicious. Religious beliefs suggest that divine forms should be kept in a pure and respectful state. Daily activities, eating, and sleeping can lead to impurity, making it inappropriate to wear such lockets. There's also a risk of the image getting damaged or broken, which is seen as disrespectful. Instead, one can wear Rudraksha, Tulsi mala, or a pendant with the 'Om' symbol.
