Haryana's fast bowler Anshul Kamboj has been handed his debut cap for India in the third ODI against the West Indies. Kamboj earned this opportunity due to his strong performances in domestic cricket and the injury to Prasidh Krishna. He has showcased his bowling prowess with 56 wickets in 35 List A matches and 116 in First Class cricket. Kamboj previously considered quitting cricket after a stress fracture ruled him out of the 2020 U-19 World Cup, but his father and coach encouraged him to continue.
