Illegal hoardings and flex banners have appeared across prominent locations in Mangaluru during the ongoing Dasara festivities. MCC commissioner, Rahul Ratnam Pandey, stated that the corporation is actively removing these unauthorized displays based on public complaints. However, the drive to remove illegal hoardings has been temporarily halted for two days. This pause is to allow revenue staff to focus on clearing over 3,300 pending khata applications, with a target of processing at least 1,500 by Sunday.

चल रहे दशहरा उत्सव के दौरान मंगलुरु के प्रमुख स्थानों पर अवैध होर्डिंग्स और फ्लेक्स बैनर दिखाई दिए हैं। एमसीसी आयुक्त, राहुल रत्नम पांडे ने कहा कि निगम जनता की शिकायतों के आधार पर इन अनधिकृत प्रदर्शनों को सक्रिय रूप से हटा रहा है। हालांकि, अवैध होर्डिंग्स हटाने का अभियान दो दिनों के लिए अस्थायी रूप से रोक दिया गया है। यह रोक राजस्व कर्मचारियों को 3,300 से अधिक लंबित खाता आवेदनों को निपटाने पर ध्यान केंद्रित करने की अनुमति देने के लिए है, जिसका लक्ष्य रविवार तक कम से कम 1,500 को संसाधित करना है।
