Tamil Nadu Home Secretary K. Manivasan has been transferred and appointed as Commissioner of Land Administration. He previously held portfolios including Home, Excise, and Prohibition, and was appointed Home Secretary by the Election Commission before the Assembly elections. A. Karthik, formerly Chairman and Managing Director of TANSIDCO, will succeed him as Home Secretary. In other significant transfers, Rajesh Lakhoni has been moved to TNEB and Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited, while V. Arun Roy will now serve as Secretary, Finance (Expenditure).
