Trayodashi Shraddha, also known as Terash Shraddha, is being observed. This ritual is performed for deceased family members who passed away on the Trayodashi tithi. The auspicious timings for the rituals include Kutup Muhurat, Rohin Muhurat, and Aparahna Kaal. Performing Tarpan, a ritual of offering water with black sesame seeds and Kush grass, is considered important to express reverence to ancestors. It is believed that performing these rites with devotion brings blessings, peace, and prosperity to the family.
