The talks also covered multilateralism, India-UN cooperation, and broader geopolitical issues like the war in Ukraine. Jaishankar expressed appreciation for Guterres's service during his final UN General Assembly high-level week. Guterres, whose term ends in December 2026, had visited India earlier this month.
