Bappi Lahiri Honored With Road Inauguration in Juhu

The road leading to the residence of late singer-composer Bappi Lahiri has been officially named Sangeetkar Bappi Lahiri Marg in Juhu. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the street in the presence of Lahiri's family and members of the film and music fraternity. Lahiri's son, Bappa, shared that Mumbai was his father's 'karmabhoomi' and that most of his hits were created in their home lane. The tribute honours the musician's distinctive sound and legacy, which continues to resonate with audiences across generations.

दिवंगत गायक-संगीतकार बाप्पी लाहिड़ी के आवास की ओर जाने वाली सड़क का नाम जुहू में आधिकारिक तौर पर संगीतकार बाप्पी लाहिड़ी मार्ग रखा गया है। महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने लाहिड़ी के परिवार और फिल्म व संगीत जगत के सदस्यों की मौजूदगी में इस सड़क का उद्घाटन किया। लाहिड़ी के बेटे, बप्पा ने साझा किया कि मुंबई उनके पिता की 'कर्मभूमि' थी और उनके अधिकांश हिट्स उनके घर की गली में ही बने थे। यह श्रद्धांजलि संगीतकार की विशिष्ट ध्वनि और विरासत का सम्मान करती है, जो पीढ़ियों से दर्शकों के दिलों में गूंजती रहती है।
