An eight-year-old girl, Taswani Udyanshi Pathak, was tragically killed in Naini, Uttar Pradesh, after being run over by her school van. The incident occurred shortly after she exited the vehicle, when her school bag strap got caught in the door. The driver allegedly reversed without checking, pinning her between the van and her home's boundary wall. Local residents expressed outrage and assaulted the driver before handing him to the police. Preliminary findings suggest the van was operating without a mandatory helper, a serious lapse in safety regulations.
