IIT-B Faculty Support Prof Amid Suicide Probe

IIT-Bombay's faculty forum has publicly supported professor Suryanarayana Doolla, who was removed as dean amid protests over student Sahil Wakode's death. The forum stated Doolla was temporarily relieved of duties for an unbiased investigation and remains a faculty member. Wakode's father alleges casteism and harassment by a professor. Police have registered a case under relevant acts, and the Crime Branch is investigating the death of the 22-year-old BTech student.

आईआईटी-बॉम्बे के फैकल्टी फोरम ने प्रोफेसर सूर्य नारायण डोला का समर्थन किया है। उन्हें छात्र साहिल वाकोडे की मौत के विरोध के बीच डीन पद से हटाया गया था। फोरम ने कहा कि निष्पक्ष जांच के लिए डोला को अस्थायी रूप से पद से हटाया गया था और वे अभी भी फैकल्टी का हिस्सा हैं। वाकोडे के पिता ने एक प्रोफेसर पर जातिवाद और उत्पीड़न का आरोप लगाया है।
