Jammu Kashmir Assembly Sees Uproar Over Statehood

The Jammu and Kashmir Assembly witnessed significant uproar during a discussion on restoring full statehood. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah presented a proposal for the immediate restoration of full statehood, which the Speaker accepted for debate despite opposition from BJP MLAs. Heated arguments and slogans were exchanged between the ruling party and BJP members. While National Conference legislators demanded the restoration of statehood, the BJP strongly opposed it. BJP MLA Vikram Randhawa was subsequently removed from the assembly by marshals amidst the protest.

जम्मू और कश्मीर विधानसभा में पूर्ण राज्य का दर्जा बहाल करने पर जोरदार हंगामा हुआ। मुख्यमंत्री उमर अब्दुल्ला ने तुरंत पूर्ण राज्य का दर्जा बहाल करने का प्रस्ताव रखा। स्पीकर ने बीजेपी विधायकों के विरोध के बावजूद इस पर बहस की इजाजत दे दी। सत्ताधारी पार्टी और बीजेपी सदस्यों के बीच तीखी नोकझोंक और नारेबाजी हुई। नेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस के विधायकों ने राज्य का दर्जा बहाल करने की मांग की, जबकि बीजेपी ने इसका कड़ा विरोध किया। विरोध के बीच बीजेपी विधायक विक्रम रंधावा को मार्शल ने सदन से बाहर निकाल दिया।
