Sanjay Raut Apologizes to Supreme Court After Notice Issued

Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) leader Sanjay Raut has apologized to the Supreme Court after receiving a criminal contempt notice. He stated that neither he nor his party intended to disrespect the apex court. The notice was issued for his alleged defamatory remarks against CJI Surya Kant and a post against the CJI by journalist Nikhil Wagle. Raut had claimed to have seen judges playing badminton with BJP leaders in London, a statement he later retracted.

संजय राउत ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट से मांगी माफी अवमानना नोटिस जारी होने के बाद

शिवसेना (उद्धव बालासाहेब ठाकरे) के नेता संजय राउत ने आपराधिक अवमानना नोटिस मिलने के बाद सुप्रीम कोर्ट से माफी मांगी है। उन्होंने कहा कि न तो उनका और न ही उनकी पार्टी का शीर्ष अदालत का अनादर करने का कोई इरादा था। यह नोटिस सीजेआई सूर्य कांत के खिलाफ कथित मानहानिकारक टिप्पणियों और पत्रकार निखिल वागले द्वारा सीजेआई के खिलाफ एक पोस्ट के लिए जारी किया गया था। राउत ने दावा किया था कि उन्होंने लंदन में बीजेपी नेताओं के साथ जजों को बैडमिंटन खेलते देखा है, जिसे उन्होंने बाद में वापस ले लिया था।
