Landlord Denies Entry To Deceased Woman's Body Over Durga Puja

In a shocking incident in Madhya Pradesh's Guna district, a landlord refused to allow the body of a 31-year-old woman, who died after a long illness, into his rented house, citing Durga Puja celebrations. The grieving family was forced to perform the last rites in the hospital premises before taking the body directly to the cremation ground. The deceased, Pooja Rajak, was suffering from cancer and is survived by her three children. Her estranged husband attended the cremation, and social workers provided assistance to the family.

मध्य प्रदेश के गुना जिले में एक चौंकाने वाली घटना हुई है। एक मकान मालिक ने लंबी बीमारी के बाद मर चुकीं 31 साल की महिला के शव को दुर्गा पूजा का हवाला देते हुए अपने किराए के घर में घुसने नहीं दिया। दुखी परिवार को अस्पताल परिसर में ही अंतिम संस्कार करना पड़ा और फिर शव को सीधे श्मशान घाट ले जाया गया। मृतक पूजा रजक कैंसर से पीड़ित थीं और उनके तीन बच्चे हैं। उनके अलग रह रहे पति अंतिम संस्कार में शामिल हुए और सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं ने परिवार की मदद की।
