Mysuru City Corporation Renews Push For Flex-Free City

Following a successful 'Flex-Free Dasara-2026' campaign, the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) is urging citizens to maintain a flex-free city beyond the festive season. The MCC stated that the campaign helped preserve Mysuru's cleanliness, aesthetic appeal, and heritage character during Dasara, earning appreciation. The corporation warned of fines and legal action against those installing unauthorised banners, flex boards, and posters, citing the Karnataka Open Places (Prevention of Disfigurement) Act, 1981. Prior permission is mandatory for any publicity materials.

'फ्लेक्स-फ्री दशहरा-2026' अभियान की सफलता के बाद, मैसूरु सिटी कॉर्पोरेशन (MCC) नागरिकों से त्योहारों के बाद भी शहर को फ्लेक्स-मुक्त बनाए रखने की अपील कर रहा है। एमसीसी ने बताया कि इस अभियान से दशहरा के दौरान मैसूरु की स्वच्छता, सुंदरता और विरासत को बनाए रखने में मदद मिली, जिसकी सराहना भी हुई। निगम ने कर्नाटक ओपन प्लेसेस (प्रिवेंशन ऑफ डिसफिगरमेंट) एक्ट, 1981 का हवाला देते हुए, अनधिकृत बैनर, फ्लेक्स बोर्ड और पोस्टर लगाने वालों पर जुर्माना और कानूनी कार्रवाई की चेतावनी दी है। किसी भी प्रचार सामग्री के लिए पहले से अनुमति लेना अनिवार्य है।
