Murder Accused Shot in Leg During Gunfight While Recovering Weapons

A murder accused, Saurabh Singh, was shot in the leg by police in Patna's Bakhtiyarpur area on Sunday. Singh was taken to the spot to recover weapons allegedly used in a murder case. He allegedly opened fire at the police team, prompting SI Pooja Kumari to fire in retaliation, hitting him in the leg. Two pistols, two magazines, and 14 live cartridges were recovered. Singh and two others were arrested for the murder of garage owner Anjani Kumar.
