CBSE Has Not Paid Vendor for Glitch-Ridden On-Screen Marking System

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not yet received a sanction order to pay its vendor, Coempt Edu Teck, for the controversial on-screen marking system. The board's finance section also has no information on penalties imposed on the company, despite officials stating in June that penalties would be levied. This system, used for the 2026 Class 12 board examinations, was marred by glitches, leading to student complaints about blurred answer sheets and technical issues.

केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड (CBSE) को अभी तक अपने विवादित ऑन-स्क्रीन मार्किंग सिस्टम के वेंडर, Coempt Edu Teck को भुगतान करने के लिए कोई मंजूरी आदेश नहीं मिला है। बोर्ड के वित्त विभाग के पास कंपनी पर लगाए गए जुर्माने की कोई जानकारी भी नहीं है, जबकि अधिकारियों ने जून में कहा था कि जुर्माना लगाया जाएगा। 2026 की कक्षा 12 की बोर्ड परीक्षाओं के लिए इस्तेमाल किए गए इस सिस्टम में कई गड़बड़ियां थीं, जिससे छात्रों ने उत्तर पुस्तिकाओं के धुंधले होने और तकनीकी समस्याओं की शिकायत की थी।
