Udemy Co-Founder Launches New Tech Academy

Gagan Biyani, co-founder of Udemy, has launched the Andreessen Horowitz Academy in San Francisco, an alternative to traditional college for tech and AI aspirants. The academy, which has raised $42 million, will offer a tuition-free one-year program for 50 students starting September 2027. It will not award degrees or guarantee jobs. A subsequent two-year program, pending approval, will charge between $60,000 and $90,000 annually.
