Krishi Mela Sees Record 25.66 Lakh Visitors

The University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad's four-day Krishi Mela concluded with a record 25.66 lakh visitors. During the event, 1,184.5 quintals of rabi crop seeds were sold for ₹99.34 lakh. Discussions focused on digital technologies, climate-resilient farming, and sustainable agriculture. Experts urged agricultural universities to integrate skill-based curricula on emerging digital technologies. The fair also highlighted innovative farming practices and honored fourteen progressive farmers and farm women.

यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ एग्रीकल्चरल साइंसेज, धारवाड़ का चार दिन का कृषि मेला रिकॉर्ड 25.66 लाख आगंतुकों के साथ संपन्न हुआ। इस दौरान, 99.34 लाख रुपये में 1,184.5 क्विंटल रबी फसल के बीज बेचे गए। चर्चाओं में डिजिटल टेक्नोलॉजी, जलवायु-अनुकूल खेती और टिकाऊ कृषि पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया। विशेषज्ञों ने कृषि विश्वविद्यालयों से उभरती डिजिटल टेक्नोलॉजी पर कौशल-आधारित पाठ्यक्रम को एकीकृत करने का आग्रह किया। मेले में नवीन खेती के तरीकों को भी उजागर किया गया और चौदह प्रगतिशील किसानों और खेत की महिलाओं को सम्मानित किया गया।
