Supreme Court Upholds CBSE's Three-Language Policy

The Supreme Court has refused to halt the Central Board of Secondary Education's (CBSE) three-language policy for the 2026-27 academic year. Petitioners had challenged the policy, citing implementation issues and resource constraints. The court acknowledged the benefits of language learning and will hear detailed arguments next week.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने CBSE की तीन-भाषा नीति पर रोक लगाने से इनकार कर दिया है। यह नीति 2026-27 शैक्षणिक सत्र से लागू होगी। याचिकाकर्ताओं ने इसे लागू करने में दिक्कतें और संसाधनों की कमी का हवाला देते हुए चुनौती दी थी। कोर्ट ने भाषा सीखने के फायदों को माना है और अगले हफ्ते इस पर विस्तार से सुनवाई करेगा।
