Elderly Woman Killed In KSRTC Bus-Car Collision

An elderly woman, identified as 71-year-old Sali Thomas, died when a KSRTC bus collided with her family's car near Kumily on the Kottarakara-Dindigul National Highway. The accident occurred on Wednesday morning around 6:50 a.m. The car, carrying five people from Pathanamthitta to Velankanni, was hit by the bus while negotiating a curve. The bus driver reportedly fled the scene before stopping later. Police have registered a case against the driver for rash and negligent driving.

कुमिली के पास कोट्टारकरा-डिंडिगुल नेशनल हाईवे पर एक KSRTC बस और कार की टक्कर में 71 वर्षीय सली थॉमस नाम की एक बुजुर्ग महिला की मौत हो गई। यह हादसा बुधवार सुबह करीब 6:50 बजे हुआ। पथनमथिट्टा से वेलंकन्नी जा रही कार में पांच लोग सवार थे। बस ने मोड़ पर कार को टक्कर मारी। बस चालक मौके से फरार हो गया था, लेकिन बाद में पकड़ा गया। पुलिस ने चालक के खिलाफ लापरवाही से गाड़ी चलाने का मामला दर्ज किया है।
