Minister Questions KCR's Land Holdings Since 2004

Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy has questioned the land holdings of BRS president K. Chandrashekar Rao, citing his 2004 Lok Sabha election affidavit. Mr. Rao declared no agricultural or non-agricultural land in his affidavit for the Karimnagar election. The affidavit, available on MyNeta, listed a building valued at ₹70 lakh as his only immovable asset. The minister seeks an explanation for the subsequent acquisition of substantial land and assets by Mr. Rao and his family.

राजस्व मंत्री पोंगुलेटी श्रीनिवास रेड्डी ने बीआरएस प्रमुख के. चंद्रशेखर राव की ज़मीन के बारे में सवाल उठाए हैं। उन्होंने 2004 के लोकसभा चुनाव के हलफनामे का हवाला दिया, जिसमें राव ने करीमनगर चुनाव के लिए कोई भी कृषि या गैर-कृषि ज़मीन घोषित नहीं की थी। MyNeta पर उपलब्ध इस हलफनामे में ₹70 लाख का एक भवन ही उनकी एकमात्र अचल संपत्ति बताया गया था। मंत्री ने राव और उनके परिवार द्वारा बाद में इतनी ज़मीन और संपत्ति हासिल करने पर स्पष्टीकरण मांगा है।
