Srinagar MP Aga Ruhullah Resigns From NC Amid Party Turmoil

Srinagar Lok Sabha member Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi has resigned from his parliamentary seat and the National Conference party. His resignation comes amid growing discontent within the ruling party, with reports of around 25 legislators demanding a replacement of all eight cabinet ministers, including the deputy chief minister, within 15 days. They have also sought the removal of Omar Abdullah's close aide and political advisor. The NC has 41 MLAs in the 90-member Jammu and Kashmir assembly and leads a coalition government.

श्रीनगर से लोकसभा सांसद आगा सैयद रुहुल्लाह मेहदी ने अपनी संसदीय सीट और नेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस पार्टी से इस्तीफा दे दिया है। उनका इस्तीफा सत्तारूढ़ पार्टी के भीतर बढ़ते असंतोष के बीच आया है, जिसमें करीब 25 विधायकों द्वारा 15 दिनों के भीतर उप मुख्यमंत्री सहित सभी आठ कैबिनेट मंत्रियों को बदलने की मांग की जा रही है। उन्होंने उमर अब्दुल्ला के करीबी सहयोगी और राजनीतिक सलाहकार को हटाने की भी मांग की है। 90 सदस्यीय जम्मू और कश्मीर विधानसभा में एनसी के 41 विधायक हैं और वह गठबंधन सरकार का नेतृत्व करती है।
