An event for Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay in London was cancelled on Tuesday due to safety concerns raised by the Metropolitan Police. Hundreds of fans gathered outside The Shard, hoping to see the actor-turned-politician, but the programme was called off after authorities intervened. Vijay is in the UK leading a delegation to attract investments, with the Chief Minister's Office reporting multiple MoUs signed worth around Rs 12,300 crore.
