Shopkeeper Beaten To Death By Neighbours In Lucknow Over Old Rivalry

A shopkeeper was allegedly beaten to death by four men over an old rivalry in front of Khalilabad railway station in Sant Kabir Nagar, Lucknow on Saturday night. The deceased, Chiranjiv Lal Jaiswal, ran a hotel opposite the railway station. According to his son's complaint, the accused neighbours allegedly assaulted him and his mother, and when Jaiswal intervened, they brutally assaulted him before fleeing. He was rushed to the district hospital where he was declared dead.

शनिवार रात लखनऊ के खलीलाबाद रेलवे स्टेशन के सामने पुरानी रंजिश के चलते चार लोगों ने एक दुकानदार की कथित तौर पर पीट-पीटकर हत्या कर दी। मृतक, चिरंजीव लाल जायसवाल, रेलवे स्टेशन के सामने एक होटल चलाते थे। उनके बेटे की शिकायत के अनुसार, आरोपी पड़ोसियों ने कथित तौर पर उनके साथ और उनकी माँ के साथ मारपीट की, और जब जायसवाल ने बीच-बचाव किया, तो उन्होंने भागने से पहले उन्हें बेरहमी से पीटा। उन्हें जिला अस्पताल ले जाया गया जहाँ उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया गया।
