DMK Councillors Walk Out of Trichy Council Meeting

DMK councillors in Trichy staged a walkout from a corporation council meeting on Tuesday, protesting alleged delays in ward-level civic works and lack of cooperation from officials. Mayor Mu Anbalagan stated that elected representatives have been unable to secure funds for minor works over the past four months. Councillors also raised concerns about a sanitation worker's death while on duty in Madurai. The protest led to the adjournment of the meeting due to insufficient quorum.
