A car flashing an unauthorized red-blue beacon and sporting a temporary registration number was spotted by Panchkula's DCP (crime & traffic) on Tuesday evening. The driver attempted to evade the officer, leading to a five-kilometer chase through market and residential areas. The vehicle was eventually stopped, impounded, and the driver was issued challans totaling Rs 30,000 for various traffic violations. The police are intensifying action against vehicles using prohibited items like unauthorized lights and stickers to ensure disciplined road movement.

मंगलवार शाम पंचकुला के डीसीपी (अपराध और यातायात) ने एक ऐसी कार देखी जिस पर अनधिकृत लाल-नीली बत्ती लगी थी और अस्थायी पंजीकरण नंबर था। ड्राइवर ने अधिकारी से बचने की कोशिश की, जिससे बाजार और आवासीय इलाकों से होते हुए पांच किलोमीटर तक पीछा चला। आखिरकार, गाड़ी को रोका गया, जब्त किया गया और विभिन्न यातायात उल्लंघनों के लिए ड्राइवर पर कुल 30,000 रुपये का चालान काटा गया। पुलिस अनुशासित सड़क आवाजाही सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अनधिकृत लाइटों और स्टिकर जैसी निषिद्ध वस्तुओं का उपयोग करने वाले वाहनों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई तेज कर रही है।
