CBI Returned Empty-Handed, Reflects Our Integrity: Punjab CM Mann

Times of India · politics

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann stated that CBI teams returned empty-handed after conducting searches at eight locations, including his camp office. He denounced the action as a misuse of central agencies by the BJP to intimidate him ahead of assembly elections. Mann asserted that the CBI could not find anything incriminating and would have to issue a clean chit. He questioned the timing of the raids, noting a pattern of central agencies becoming active before elections in states where the BJP faces challenges.
