कोच्चि में हुई Women's Premier League 2027 की खिलाड़ी नीलामी में हैरानी भरा कम बोली देखी गई, जिसमें 150 खिलाड़ियों में से केवल 25 ही उपलब्ध स्लॉट भर पाए। ऑस्ट्रेलिया की कप्तान Sophie Molineux, UP Warriorz द्वारा 1.10 करोड़ रुपये में खरीदी गईं, सबसे महंगी खिलाड़ी बनीं। ऑल-राउंडर सबसे ज़्यादा मांगे जाने वाले खिलाड़ी रहे, बिके हुए 25 खिलाड़ियों में से 13 उन्हीं की श्रेणी के थे, UP Warriorz ने रणनीतिक रूप से छह खिलाड़ियों को साइन किया। कई टीमों के अपने मुख्य स्क्वाड तय लग रहे थे, जिससे नीलामी का माहौल शांत रहा।
