US Bars Cloudera From Green Card Sponsorship For Two Years

US data management company Cloudera has agreed to a $2 million settlement with the Justice Department and Department of Labor over allegations of discriminating against American workers. The company is barred from the labor certification program for two years. Cloudera must also establish a $1.4 million fund for back pay to eligible US workers and pay $600,000 in civil penalties. This action intensifies enforcement of rules protecting American workers in employment-based immigration processes.
