Office space leasing saw a 9% year-on-year increase in the July-September quarter across India's top seven cities, reaching 18.7 million sq ft. Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, and Kolkata experienced growth in leasing activity. However, Mumbai, Pune, and Chennai saw a decline in demand for office spaces. This trend indicates continued corporate interest in physical workspaces despite varying performance across different metropolitan areas.
