The Election Commission of India (ECI) has extended the deadline for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Andhra Pradesh. The notice phase and disposal of claims and objections will now conclude on October 22, 2026. Consequently, the final electoral roll publication has been rescheduled to October 30, 2026. This revision is being conducted with July 1, 2026, as the qualifying date. The ECI has instructed authorities to inform all relevant officials and political parties about the revised schedule and ensure wide publicity.

चुनाव आयोग (ECI) ने आंध्र प्रदेश में मतदाता सूची के विशेष गहन संशोधन (SIR) की समय सीमा बढ़ा दी है। नोटिस चरण और दावों व आपत्तियों के निपटान का काम अब 22 अक्टूबर 2026 को पूरा होगा। इसके परिणामस्वरूप, अंतिम मतदाता सूची का प्रकाशन 30 अक्टूबर 2026 के लिए पुनर्निर्धारित किया गया है। यह संशोधन 1 जुलाई 2026 को अर्हक तिथि के रूप में आयोजित किया जा रहा है। ECI ने अधिकारियों को सभी संबंधित अधिकारियों और राजनीतिक दलों को संशोधित कार्यक्रम के बारे में सूचित करने और व्यापक प्रचार सुनिश्चित करने का निर्देश दिया है।
