केरल का भारत-न्यूज़ीलैंड फ्री ट्रेड एग्रीमेंट (FTA) के तहत पहला निर्यात कंसाइनमेंट शुक्रवार, 16 अक्टूबर 2026 को कोचीन पोर्ट से रवाना हुआ। राज्य से प्राप्त मसालों का यह शिपमेंट, जिसे Synthite Industries Pvt. Ltd. ने एक्सपोर्ट किया है, FTA के लागू होने की तैयारी में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है। यह समझौता, जिस पर 27 अप्रैल को हस्ताक्षर किए गए थे और 21 सितंबर 2026 को पुष्टि की गई थी, आधिकारिक तौर पर 20 अक्टूबर 2026 को लागू होगा।
