Man Arrested For Stealing Jewellery From Ex-In-Laws

A 42-year-old man was arrested in Kolkata for allegedly stealing gold and silver jewellery worth approximately Rs 15 lakh from his former in-laws' house. The accused, identified as Tuhin Mondal, was apprehended within 30 minutes of the incident. Police successfully recovered the stolen jewellery from his possession. Mondal had divorced his wife last month, and the couple reportedly had disputes, including over jewellery at her parental home. He was produced before a Barasat court and sent to judicial custody.

कोलकाता में 42 साल के एक आदमी को अपने पूर्व ससुराल से करीब 15 लाख रुपये के सोने और चांदी के गहने कथित तौर पर चुराने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया है। आरोपी, जिसकी पहचान तुहिन मंडल के रूप में हुई है, घटना के 30 मिनट के भीतर पकड़ा गया था। पुलिस ने उसके कब्जे से चोरी हुए गहने बरामद कर लिए। मंडल का पिछले महीने अपनी पत्नी से तलाक हो गया था, और कथित तौर पर दंपति के बीच विवाद थे, जिसमें उसकी पैतृक घर की गहनों को लेकर भी झगड़ा शामिल था। उसे बारासात कोर्ट में पेश किया गया और न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया गया।
